About Chart of Accounts Special Functions
In the Chart of Accounts Special dialog box, you can select accounts to:
Change: Increase or decrease budget amounts by a specified percentage.
Copy: Copy all of the account information to the selected account. This is useful when creating a new location.
Delete: Delete an account.
Reset Summaries: Reset the chart of accounts after you add or delete accounts from your chart of accounts, or if your general ledger does not balance.
Transfer: Move all account information to the selected account. Once you do so, the original account no longer exists.
Zero Records: Zero amounts in the chart of accounts for new locations. Before completing this function, you should copy the GL-MASTER and CHARTFILE files to protect against accidental deletions.
