You can make mass changes to selected items records. A mass change is a change to one or more fields in a group of database records. A mass change can be used to enter new values in a field or to clear a field.

There are three basic changes you can make to a selector to implement a mass change: limiting, modifying, and deleting information that appears in the selector. If you make a mistake when making these changes, you can go back to the limits, modifies, or deletes you specified and change or delete them.

Before you begin making changes, you must backup the file you are about to change.

Note: If a password has been assigned in the Master Password field in the (X) Program Security screen, you are required to enter that password before executing a mass change procedure.

For information about mass changing, go to Using the (+EJ) Screen.
