About the State Quarterly Report
The State Quarterly Report may be required by your state employment commission. It can be used to calculate unemployment compensation. You can specify the maximum amount of annual gross wages that are subject to state unemployment tax in the Quarterly Report Upto $ field in the text-based (L5) State Payroll Tables screen.
Note: For this report to be accurate, you must print it after the last payroll period of the current year and before the first payroll period of the following quarter.
This report includes the following quarterly information:
State and Federal Tax numbers
Company Name
Information About Each Employee:
Social Security Number
Employee Name
Gross Wages
Wages Subject to Social Security Deductions
Wages Subject to State Employment Tax
The report also includes the following totals for each employee:
Gross Wages
Wages Subject to Social Security Deductions
Wages Subject to State Unemployment Tax
