About the Inventory Extended Dollars Report
The Inventory Extended Dollars report shows an extended total of the merchandise you currently have on-hand, as well as how much you can anticipate paying for items on-order. This report gives dollar amount for each on-order, on-hand, backordered, and allocated item. It is shorted by item number and company and provides the following information:
Inventory Location
Item Number
Company
Description
Unit of Measure
Unit Base Price
Quantity on Order
Quantity on Hand
Quantity Backordered
Quantity Allocated
If you do not set limits for this report, the information for every item in your database prints. ECI recommends that you limit this report to on-hand and allocated items Some totals are only valid at the time you print this report, because these values can change as an item is ordered.
When you print Extended Dollars reports from the text-based (RR) Inventory Reports screen, you can base report information on several cost figures. You can choose from the following options:
A: Average Cost
D: Manufacturer's Current Replacement Cost
R: Wholesaler's Current Replacement Cost
P: List Price
When you print Extended Dollars reports from the text-based (R) Inventory Selectors screen, you can select the cost that displays on the report, as well as catalog the changed report so you can instantly execute it at any time. The Dpt Pricing field in the (R) screen determines how total costs are calculated for the departments in this report. You can choose from the following options:
M: Replacement Cost From the Direct Buy Source
W: Replacement Cost From the Wholesaler
P: Average Landed Cost
