Support assistance is available to licensed Spruce AnyWare users who are also maintaining support/licensing for the Spruce product. This includes documentation, limited telephone assistance during our regular support hours1, and free updates to the app as they become available. There is no emergency (off-hour) support for Spruce AnyWare. Support assistance is limited to our software products only. Support does not include training2, installation, hardware support, network configuration, or assistance with any 3rd party software products including the Android operating system or how to use your selected device. Any assistance rendered to help connect your device to your network, learn how to use your device, or install the Spruce AnyWare app (or other apps) is considered a billable service and the availability of assistance is not guaranteed. All warranty and hardware support for devices, including those purchased through ECi Spruce Computer Systems, Inc. as a reseller, must be arranged for by your company with the manufacturer or provider and is not the responsibility of ECi Spruce Computer Systems, Inc.

ECi Spruce Computer Systems, Inc. now sells Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablets that can be purchased pre-installed with Spruce AnyWare and/or SpruceWMS, and supporting apps. Purchasing a device from ECi Spruce Computer Systems, Inc. is not required unless you want to use the SpruceWMS app (used for warehouse management). In that case only, the Motorola ET1 devices, apps, and additional Warehouse Management consulting services are packaged together. Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablets can be purchased with Spruce AnyWare only as well (not including SpruceWMS). The benefit to these sturdy tablets is that they are constructed for rugged use and have a high quality bolt-on barcode scanner which provides a higher level of performance than using a devices built in camera. Additionally, these tablets are locked so that users cannot install other apps from the Google Play store. For these reasons, Motorola ET1 Enterprise Tablets are more expensive than standard Android platform devices.

Devices and plans must be arranged for and purchased separately. We are unable to guarantee any level of connectivity or ensure a user’s ability to use the Spruce AnyWare app in areas with limited or no cell coverage. Due to the possibility of dropped connections, we cannot guarantee against loss of data or performance issues with the Spruce AnyWare application due to connectivity issues.

Companies using Spruce AnyWare with a data plan should consider the expenses related to data usage. Some features, when used outside your network, may increase the quantity or frequency of the data transmitted between the device and your server. This can affect the data usage you are charged for by your data provider.

1Currently, our support hours are 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM EST, Monday-Friday, excluding days our offices are scheduled to be closed or open with reduced hours due to holidays, events. In some cases, our offices may experience unexpected closures or limited support availability due to weather emergencies, etc., or other reasons beyond our control.

2Excludes regularly scheduled monthly free training. Advance registration on our web site is required and class sizes are limited. Training would be considered any in-depth overview or explanation of features that does not involve answers to specific and limited questions regarding our products. Additional training is available as a paid service. We also offer substantial documentation as well as other user-initiated resources (such as videos, etc.) to assist users free of charge.
